YES! Emmy and I just got new BSB tickets since the last ones weren't the best ever...

Row H, center, on the floor!

That will make staring at Nick Carter much easier.

Yay! Emmy and I just got (way overpriced!) Backstreet Boys tickets for Milwaukee next Friday! At least it's a small venue, so third-to-the-last row on the floor won't be too bad. Or...at least I get to go.

Anybody want to go see the Backstreet Boys with me at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee on April 8? Sara and Alyson are already going (with the most kickass seats ever), but I didn't get a ticket because I wasn't sure what I'd be doing job-wise. Well, now I'm jealous and will figure something out, should I be employed by then. There are some tickets on ebay that I'm looking at (a pair in the second row for $100 total!), but there are no singles for sale. So, if you'd like to join me, let me know!

So here I am...last day at work. If I can't slack today, when can I?

Since Brad is going to be up here with his fam and I'll be at home with mine on Easter, I put together an Easter basket for him...because I'm cute like that. ;-) Last night I went over to his parents' house and dropped it off, so they're going to hide it on Sunday with their other baskets. I'm such a dork, but then again, so is he, so he'll appreciate all of the random things in there. A plastic train filled with candy, for example...because, you know, he's an engineer *wink* (and I choo-choo-choose him, but that's just corny). Other exciting stuff...the Harry Potter jelly beans he wanted to try months ago, a bunny pez dispenser, and a nerf gun thing with little foam darts that I'm sure he'll use to drive his family crazy.

Oop, back to work.

I quit my job today. It's such a relief to have finally done it. Now I don't have to worry about it all day, like I have the last week or so when I've been too much of a wuss to actually do it. Shaun took it pretty well, which is good. I just have to let him know soon when my last day will be. I'm thinking the 24th. Then I won't have to worry about getting off for Easter or to go see the Backstreet Boys in Chicago the next day. Yeah, I did just say that.

Alyson informed me that Challenge is going to be the weekend of the 16th. I'm not sure if that's true or what, but sucky. People need to just STOP getting married, thanks. Last year I had to miss for my cousin's wedding and this year I have to be in my friend's wedding that weekend. Grrrr. Maybe they'll change it?

Wow. I didn't know Carrie Underwood on American Idol is a Sigma. That's pretty sweet!

This is fun.

List five fictional people -- from television, movies, books, whatever -- that you had a crush on as a child (or early teens). Then post this on your LiveJournal so other people can know what a dork you've always been.

Here we go, in no particular order:

1. Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar in Saved By The Bell)
2. Rocky (Micheal Treanor in 3 Ninjas)
3. Randy Taylor (Jonathan Taylor Thomas in Home Improvement)
4. David (David Moscow in Newsies)
5. Wipeout (JC Chasez in Emerald Cove on MMC)

#5 is a tough one because I loved Jeff first, but after the one where Wipeout won the writing contest and was afraid everyone would make fun of him, he stole the show...and my little heart.

And yes, clearly I am still dorky.

OMG, hahahahaha!

A kid from Holmen, who I've known since I was, like, 5 years old, was just on American Idol...in the group of really bad people.

The weird thing is that he's actually pretty good. Bad song choice. He sounded scary.

So funny.

In the year 2005 I resolve to:

Wear more lacy black lingerie.

I hope you all had fun and safe New Year's Eves. For the first time in at least three years, I didn't stay in and watch *NSYNC videos. Brad and I went out for dinner, then back to his apartment, where they had people over. Then we all went downtown to The Shout House and, since JoAnn works there, we got in free (no $30 cover for me) and had bottles of champagne coming to us all night long. It's a good time there...the piano players take requests, so they had the crowd singing along.

New Years kisses to all of you who didn't get them! ;-)

Holy shit...my new computer is so fast, I don't know what to do with myself.

I know. I'll go read my friendslist, and it won't even take 87 years for each page to load.
